About Me
I always wanted to be an artist. I would stand on the paint aisle of the art store and ask God why He hadn't made me one…
I would daydream of what it would be like to hold that favorite brush or wear that well-worn smock. But, for some reason, I couldn't get my heart to connect with my head.
Until one day, my husband decided to help me connect the dots. Armed with an art kit from a local store, he told me to just have fun.
It took me several weeks to even relax enough to enjoy it, and I absolutely hated it at first.
But, I soon came to realize that art is more about a desire to create than it is a natural talent...
And I had enough desire to learn everything else.
The rest is history, and as far as I'm concerned, only the beginning…
God had made me an artist, and no one was more surprised than me.
My Inspiration
God’s Word is a large part of my life. And I find that it influences every thing I do...including my art.
What does this mean?
Well, it doesn’t mean that I paint “Christian art.” Rather, it means that I am a Christian, and I am an artist.
When I am painting for myself, I paint what inspires me... and I often find God’s Word hidden within the meaning of the painting. You can see that meaning when you purchase one of my paintings. Each one
comes with a story of the inspiration & meaning behind the art.
When I am painting for you, we do not have to include Scripture in the painting or the story. That is completely up to you, and I respect & value your right to believe differently than me. However, I am not opposed to including it if that is what you want.
My art is about life.
The messy, the beautiful, the complicated... and I would be honored to paint your story.

I only take a select few a year, and I usually have a waiting list, but it never hurts to ask.
