Sometimes I look into their eyes, and I wonder what they wonder at…
I wonder what it must be like to see the world all fresh & new
full of hope & possibility, 
mystery & adventure.

Father God, keep their innocence as long as possible, and may they never lose that fascination with all the good You have created.

And, help me to remember,
How how lovely is this life...
With all of its twinkling lights, moments of belly laughter & meals with loved ones.

Let me see You as You are,
know Your goodness
and forever & ever be captivated by Your beauty.

Help me to enjoy You in the good moments, and cling to You in the bad.
Give me a desire for you that brings out the wonder of a child in me….
A passion for the mysteries that are found in You.
And a thrill at Your Word.

And show me how to share all of that with them.

May we never grow tired of seeking Your face.
May we never forget the wonder of Your grace.
