Hopeful Expectations

This spontaneous little bird was painted after a very dry season where I was feeling all the "I don't care" feelings and none of the artistic ones. 

But every single time I decide to sit down and just play with color, something happens.

Ok...sometimes it turns out like this.

Other times it turns out like mud lol...but today we have hopeful expectations!

His simplicity, the way he's just living in his moment, and his curiosity about all the things around him

I don't know..it just makes my heart kinda happy for him.

And makes me want to do the same. Minus maybe the bird bath because nosy neighbors.
