My art is about the nests we build & the stories they tell.

This piece is especially close to my heart…

as a mother of sons, I pray fervently for this generation of men as they step into the role of father & leader in their home.

May they love God & be led by Him.

Pray that God shows him the adventure to which he has been called.

and that he sees & recognizes the man he has been created to be.

 

Pray that when the world raises its voice against him, 

telling him he isn’t good enough

man enough

or strong enough…

That he refuses to listen.

 

Because he knows who he is, 

and Whose he is.

He understands the courage of commitment,

and knows that an excellent father must first be a present father…

 

Pray that he stays.

That he prays.

and that he leads well, 

even when he leads afraid.

 

Pray for his health, his finances & his friends.

his career, his interests & his relationships.

 

Pray that he hears God & he knows Him…

introduces his children to Him…

 

And that he steps up…

in a world that is telling him to step back.”
